If this fight happens, shame on everyone involved. a guy who 7-7(4 by ko) in his last 14, at 43 years old should not be fighting at all let alone for a title. Roy was once great. Now hes a .500 fighter. I was thinking about former champ Carl Daniels the other day. He was 49-4 when he started to look shot, 5 years later into his 40s he retired 50-18 having taken some beatings. Roy is now the same type of fighter and he is having the same ending. A lot of unneccesary beatings.

 

It's practically exploitation.

Though it would be a phenomenal achievement if Jones was able to win a legit CW title at this point in his career

 

Getting the robbery was the worst possible thing for Roy.

This fight should not be sanctioned. Wlod would put him away inside 3-4 rounds, and that's being generous.
