Spinks is the only one off that list who I'd make a clear favorite over Jones. The rest are either 50/50 or underdogs against Roy.

I'm assuming we're looking at Roy in his prime?

Roy's absolute prime was in 94/95 when he was around 25 years old, fighting at SMW. So we can take that version of him, who weighed in at around 175 on fight night.

Tarver and Johnson don't really need to be used as examples here. Roy wasn't prime then, and we know that Bob Foster had the power to knock just about anyone out.

Also, what difference does it make if Roy beat Ruiz, and Spinks beat Holmes? That doesn't mean anything, apart from that Spinks beat a better HW. It doesn't necessarily mean that Spinks would have beaten Roy at LHW.

I'm certainly not saying that Roy could have beaten all those guys, especially as I don't know much about some of the fighters on the list, but I think Roy at 25, gives anyone a tough fight with his incredible speed and power.

Do you think anyone with a brain would have let John FVCKING Ruiz in with a prime Ali?

Hitting and running against that lump of s.h.i.t ( the way Jones did ) ain't nothing like fighting Ali.
