Both at their peak. Nunn at his best looked like he had the talent and style to trouble Roy but I'm not too sure. Prime Roy was something else but I would have loved to see him fight someone who could match his talents and speed. I'm going with Roy by decision.
I'll go with Nunn. The lightning straight flurries and long left uppercuts behind a busy southpaw jab would neutralize Roy's leaping hooks. I don't think Nunn could get by 12 stanzas if he was on his bike constantly, I think Roy would find a leaping super shot at some point to buzz him and follow it up and do his ****, if Nunn was playing runner. But if Nunn pressed and let his hands go, Roy would have kittens trying to get off. Nunn was so better-founded than Roy... incredibly smooth and flowing. I think Roy rather conveniently avoided the fight with Nunn at light-heavy, even though Nunn was many years past his best. Nunn at his best, fighting the right fight, would decision Roy Jones.
Nunn was way too sloppy to beat Jones, gave up his height, threw arm punches, had a wide open defense. Jones would have knocked him out
Nunn in his prime was fantastic but his prime was short and even then he still struggled and looked ordinary in a few fights (Starling,Barkley). Jones on the other hand looked sensational over a remarkably long period of time for a fighter whose style was so dependent on his athletic gifts. Until probably Tarver 1 Jones didn't ever really look beatable in my view (although Griffin gave him problems the first time round) and I doubt a prime Jones would lose to Nunn. Short of a Kalambay style upset I can't see Nunn hurting Jones and I see Jones landing enough solid straight right hand leads and hooks over Nunns right jab mixed with solid body work to comfortably do enough to take a UD.
Roy looked ordinary against Hopkins, struggled with Griffin and Harding, and had horrific competition - including Toney, who was on a drip at hospital to keep him alive the night before. Nunn fought a Toney in peak condition and didn't run like Roy did, he just stayed right in front of Toney and just completely out-boxed him. What he did against highly-talented undefeated Olympic/World champ Tate was out of this world, barely putting a foot or hand wrong, and more impressive than any of the excellent performances of Roy, to me. He had Roldan down in the first round and totally dominated, flurried Curry out of the ring. He was absolutely incredible, against top-notch opposition.

what a great topic. both were slick, quick, and made many a foe sick too many variables in this one. I'm sorry, I can't pick a winner.
Second to Nunn has some really good wins on his ledger but he was never the superstar that Superman Roy Jones Jr. was:deal
this is a dream fight. they should have fought while nunn was a super middleweight, although past his prime. roy never had to deal with someone like nunn with quick feet and hands. i can't pick a winner
Nunn wins by stoppage . But Roy would not have fought him. Quick enough , too big (for Roy) would have been worse than Tarver for Roy.
I would pick both Nunn and Jones to beat a lot of guys at 160 who had better career resumes than thy did. Having to pick between the two I think Jones wins by late round stoppage in an otherwise compitive fight.
