    Norris was an illegal punch, but I think Tyson had a few problems in this one, missing and being hit

    In 03/04, Tyson could obviously KO Jones, but if he gets tired and goes into his shell or his knee blows out it'd be a pretty wide decision. He hasn't got the engine to chase Jones all night

    Yes, this is what i'm saying. A hypothetical (fantasy) 200 lbs peak 94-95 version of RJJ.

    Imo, this hypothetical/fantasy version of RJJ has an outside chance to win (most likely on pts going the distance).

    Well I would agree that he'd have a chance, although it wouldn't be a big chance.

    Roy at 200 pounds at 26, would be a handful for any heavy. He'd be the fastest heavy of all time, even quicker than Ali.

    I would expect Mike to have beaten him, but I don't agree with all of this 25 seconds nonsense.

    Mike never fought anyone with the speed of Roy.

    There's no way Mike could have just walked up and knocked him out. Roy wouldn't have been there.

    Roy at his peak was ridiculously fast.

    McBride was 270 lbs and leaning all over him. That's why Tyson got tired. Roy wouldn't be able to do that. He wouldn't be able to run away from Mike, not even this **** version.

    I understand it's pure fantasy, that's why i called it a "Fantasy Fight", but you have to admit it would be a fight for the ages. Prime RJJr was a phenom in his own right, imo, on par with a prime Tyson. I understand RJJr wasn't heavyweight, but imagine him at around 200 lbs in his prime. He wouldn't be able to finesse Tyson entirely, but his hand and foot speed would be something Tyson never ever saw...ever...not even close. I'd even go so far as to say a prime RJJr would've beat a prime Mayweather Jr.

    Tyson was absolute **** in 2005 so I don't see why people would even bring that up. Who knows who he would have lost to. It's hardly worth thinking about.

    Prime Tyson destroys any version of RJJ, real or imaginary.

    @Sangria - I understand that, it was just another prime vs prime comment. However, it is somewhat conceivable they could've met in the late 90's or early 2000's at light middleweight though. That would've been a fight worth seeing imo.

    I'm as big a Tyson fan as anyone, so i understand where you're coming from, but i disagree with your wording at least. Yes, prime Tyson destroys the real RJJr at any stage or any weight, i agree; but not the fantasy RJJr i've proposed here. My fantasy prime 200 lbs 26-27 yo RJJr gives Tyson the toughest fight of his career.

    Yes I think Jones could beat Max Baer, 2 LHWs in Loughran and Braddock managed it and neither are near to Jones level.

    I don't pick Jones against Tyson in 03-04, it's a pick em, Jones is nearer his prime and at this stage Tyson wasn't the best at chasing his man down.

    Well, I think our fantasy prime RJJ would have to be more like 6'3 and 224 pounds, with an 80 inch reach, to mess with prime Tyson.
