And how would Chris Eubank fair against the main man Roy Jones Jr in the early 90s. I highly rate Britains best at the time, what do you guys think? [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wQYsCyFcMJA[/ame] [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xgcl9qLqX5I&feature=related[/ame]
Jones over both for me. Eubank could catch him unexpectedly with a booming right, but i still favour Jones at his best.
Jones knocks out both. its a shame though, jones hurt his legacy by never fighting benn, eubank, collins, mccllelan, or DM later on. such a shame.
Jones might win but theres no way in the world he'd knock out either fighter, Jones isnt a one punch fighter he overwhelmed people with speed or skill . If either fighter lost it would be a 12 round UD. If i had to pick one guy to win though out of eubank and been it would be eubank because he seemed to wake from his slumber against good opposition.
no way in the world Jones can win by knockout? Be serious here, Jones can DEFINITELY win by knockout if he went for it, definitely.
Comfortable wins for Jones, UD vs Eubank, TKO vs Benn, only one around then (well a bit later) that would have give him a fight would be Calzaghe.
admin:shock::nono Jones wouldn't stop Eubank in a million years..... I can't think of many people up at light heavy that would manage it either. He'd get Benn out of there though.... Nigel would sense he was behind and go for broke, and most likely get caught and put away.
He would win a Dec against Eubank. I see him taking Benn out, Benn might land some punches early but Jones with his speed would rip Benn up with his counters.
Unfortunately, Jones saw the ferocious punchers at that division and bolted to light heavy, where the pool was much shallower and the fists a lot lighter. So we'll never know for sure.
