Who thought Roy Jones Jr would ever fall so far off he'd be fighting Omar Sheika on a fringe PPV with less than 100,000 ordering (just a rough guess).

Right on man! Boxing is way more dangerous than MMA. MMA has a perceived brutality of being more than Boxing. But in Boxing you have all punches directed to the head for 12 rounds, in MMA the fights can end in many ways and the attacks are much varied.

Punches to the head are way more dangerous than an arm lock. Also, when the punches that land when one guy is on top of another guy in MMA doesnt have much power compared to a punches that lands when the fighters are standing simply because its just an arm punch with no leverage i.e. power from the feet.

 

Why would that be all that far of a stretch, haveyou seen Jones's fights int he last 5 years? I'd pu money on my Son to know him out... My 9-year-old son and his Wii boxing skills.

 

Its been 7 years since Jones Jr knocked out somebody ,I hope he does something interesting tonight!

interesting, so the organisation that has the sports p4p number 1 aint profitable that means the ufc is the only profitable organisation in mma

and how can that be more popular than boxing

 

look out for Omar Sheika's face when e gets KO'd, because on his way down he wont know what hit him if its classic RJJ.

 

Because MMA has kicks and looooord knows kicks = the most dangerous sport ever.

They're both dangerous...boxing is just more accepted.

IMO he didn't look to bad against Calzaghe. . till he got that cut atleast, His speed was still there. Definitely a shadow to his former self though . .
