I don't mind seeing legends like Roy with their career at the end, fight small level fights to make a little coin, in front of the hometown fans as a "victory lap" for a great career.
you have a point. These days they stop the fight at the first sign of blood anyway, so no chance of either fighter getting hurt. Is boxing becoming a non-contact sport?
In all seriousness, seems like a logical match up. Both guys have to retire one day, don't they? It's a good last pay day. Might not happen for about 5 years though...
