The Jones of the Ruiz fight vs. the Peter of the Vitali fight. Does Jones waltz around Peter for 12 or does Peter land the big punch?

Jones does the same thing he did to Lacy.

I'll go TKO as for like a VK/Peter type retirement in the corner. Sam wouldn't be hurt. Just ready to quit.

Jones would have a hard time with Peter's power. Fighting Ruiz is different than fighting Peter.

I don't see Peter hitting him once in the condition he fought VK in.

If he did though it would be lights out. Peter punches very hard and off of clinches, I dont think Jones could avoid getting hit by Peter and it wouldnt even have to be full impact.

Jones by decision, but with some very hairy moments

I wouldn't let Jones' current punch resistance be an indicator that he just always had a glass jaw and did in 2001 and that it'd only take one grazing shot to likely put him on ***** Street. Secondarily, Peter is a very round house puncher and Jones has the reflexes not to get caught by probably anything Peter would throw back then while he's fresh. Third, Peter is a hell of a puncher but he's a front runner and I would bet those punches lose a boatload of steam after the first three or four rounds. So, a fresh Jones for those first three or four rounds will be out of the way but fast and after that it gets less and less likely that Peter will either catch or meaningfully catch Jones well enough to end the fight, imo. Ruiz couldn't do it much but he did a few times, except Peter isn't anywhere near as skillful (albeit terrible to watch skill) as Ruiz.

Peter would hit hard if his opponent gave him a free shot and he actually managed to land a hayemaker clean. Peter has never knocked ayone out of any cass though because hes slow, got poor skills and punches too wide. Very easy to avoid any of his meaningful punches, those lesser punches dont have much on them. Then theres the fact that Peter is a horrible plodder

Peter's jab would rock Roy badly and he gets quickly knocked out. The way Roy can win this fight is if he runs for dear life.
