SRL had the better career, getting more ATG's on his resume but prime Roy IMO was even better then Ray in the ring.

I have to go with Jones. Leonard, as great as he is, was beaten by a lightweight Duran.

Leonard , better boxer , waaaaay better competition

Roy was an athletic freak but thats it !

( and i mean no offence Patsys but to be beaten by probably the most ferocious lightweight off all time isnt too shameful and he beat him in the rematch )

I dont know about that, I think his win over Hagler even an older Marvin is what puts him ahead of Roy p4p. Take that win away it is pretty even. Remember Roy owns wins over Toney, Hopkins, a dominant win over hill and the first middleweight in 100 years to grab a heavyweight belt.

    it is a toughie.
i say leonard because he did the fundamentals better in light of them both having bags of natural talent.
ray learned his craft AND had natural skill;roy mainly relied on natural skill.
