How would RJJ do vs this gauntlet at 160?

LaMotta or Turpin would have the best chance based on styles imo but i'd favor none.

He's a couple of classes above the lot and also weighing 175lbs on the day of the fight at middleweight. He wouldn't lose a round and I think he'd stop them all. If Nardico can put Lamotta down, RJJ can knock him out

He beats them all. LaMotta has the best chance of winning.

Lamotta got dropped and stopped by Nardico, Jones is a far bigger puncher. You can try and walk down a 140lb Robinson, you aren't walking down a 180lb Roy Jones

LaMotta was at the end of his rope after well over 100 fights, plus, Nardico was 170 something in that fight, in this matchup, RJJ is 160.

The difference between RJJs era and Lamotta's is they cut water weight in the 90s more so and regained it after. RJJ was 175 at middleweight on fight night.

    Some reference points for you:

Virgil Hill - 10 years as a champion and never stopped. Taken out with a single bodyshot in 4 rounds

Griffin - beat Toney on points, taken out in a round by Jones.

Tate - went 12 round with Julian Jackson, taken out in 2 by RJJ

Sosa - went 12 rounds with Toney, Nunn and stopped in the 12th by Lyles. Taken out in 2 by Jones fresh off 1 of his best wins (Price Charles Williams)

Thornton - went 12 with punchers like Eubank and Toney but was taken out in 3 rounds by RJJ

Malinga beat big puncher Nigel Benn and got a controversial loss where the British commentator said he deserved the verdict - Jones took him out in 6

Wolfe - went this distance with Toney, taken out in 1 round by RJJ

Jones wins them all. LaMotta could give him trouble over 15 but I think Jones is too fast for him.

Jones and KOs in most if not all of the fights. It wouldn't be pretty with some of the styles people would try and employ against Roy. It would get ugly.

LOL. Graziano would be lucky to last 2 rounds.

He beat a shot ass overrated Zale. Graziano's claim to fame is that he beat, and lost to, an old, past it, overrated Zale and beat a bunch of small guys whilst getting a flash KD vs Robinson. The infatuation with him is weird, he was just wasn't very good. Especially not to go the distance with an on-form Jones. In reality Graziano isn't actually any better than Rubin Carter or Florentino Fernandez.

    Jones toys with him.

some of those would be tough matches but ultimately I’d have to favor Jones against all of them.
