    How is he rated?
    Jake has some Ls on his record but he fought more of the good black boxers than many other White champions did. Gene Fullmer falls more in line with your criticism.

    Roy ducking Graziano :eek::eek::eek:
    We are talking about a prime Roy Jones here, do you understand that ? o_Oo_Oo_O
    Roy would beat the living daylight out of Graziano. It would be like a pro vs an amateur, that's how huge the gap is.
    Prime Roy is possibly the best boxer to have ever lived. :ggg:ggg:ggg

    The best amateurs are far better than most pros.

    Highlighting the racism and white privilege of the pre-civil rights is racist now? I think people who willfully ignore the racism and white privilege of this era are the real racists. Have a look in the mirror

    Lamotta was outboxed against nearly every top contender he faced

    Nobody ignores that here, so I don't see your point...

    A shame that he didn't prove it in the ring. Fighters like Charles, Greb, SRR or Armstrong destroys Jones legacy-wise.

    He more than proved it in the ring, but his legacy was tarnished by being stupid and fighting on for too long. Had he retired after the Ruiz fight, he'd be regarded in the same bracket as the men you mentioned

    No he wouldn't because his resume isn't close to them.

    Jones would be KTFOd by the same welterweight. We just wouldn't be able to bully Lachlan over it.

    He was unbeaten for more than a decade.
    Resume is irrelevant since it can't be proven that their opposition was better.
