Chudinov is whipping in long right hooks on the ribcage and sticking left jabs into Novoa's forehead while backing up and blocking the straightaway head attack and wide sweeping undercut body hooks of Novoa. Jabs in multiples by Chudinov, all pecking the forearms of Novoa as he marches forward and sweeps out grazing body shots.

Chudinov is jabbing from the belt line to neck line of Novoa, mixing in some looping rights behind the jaw line. Chudinov is shoving in, knocking his arms into Novoa's to get spacing and then popping short combinations of jabs and looping rights. Hooks on the hip by Chudinov to distract Novoa from the head combos. Novoa is slashing hooks up top but Chudinov is ducking and hitting the body. Double jab by Chudinov on the inside before a left stiff-arm to drive Novoa onto his heels and set him up for a jab and looping right combo. Novoa is rocked by a looping right. They trade hooks, Novoa digging hard into Chudinov's stomach even while getting thwacked across the head.

Chudinov is leaning in and dropping straight combos on the face of Novoa, all while moving his feet outside and keeping a shoulder width stance, always in position to land and defend. Nice generalship here by Chudinov. Novoa is walking onto left hooks on the cheek at mid-range, then getting peppered with body combos up close and out-jabbed when Chudinov takes extra steps for separation to get outside. Novoa is leading with big hooks of his own tossed from the hip but Chudinov is sliding around him and countering well.

Round 4

Novoa is hurt! Chudinov is letting go a barrage of hooks and rights in the middle of the ring from the bell. Novoa staggers outside and regains his faculties, putting his guard up but not throwing anything to deter Chudinov as he continues to circle in and out with predatory watchfulness, hitting wherever he sees a scoring area open. Time out. There seemed to have been a headbutt and Chudinov may be cut. Time in. Chudinov is drilling Novoa with hard right hands on the forehead. Left hooks downstairs by Chudinov, pressing Novoa across the ring. Big scooping flurries to the body by Novoa, trying to hold his ground. Chudinov is slipping and weaving side to side, threading in straight right hand pull-counters and jabs. The cut is bleeding into his eye, flowing freely. Novoa targets it with sharp jabs, now coming forward himself. Chudinov plants his feet and feeds him a HARD uppercut on the kisser at the bell, jolting him.
