Yeah Roy is great. I think Foreman edges him out in this department tho.

 

George "The referee is going to be the most important man in the ring other than the two fighters" Foreman...ah...lordy.

Roy was great. I think Hopkins on FNF is a test run to see how he'd do as a commentator.

 

I thought Briggs did a good job on FNF, i think it was last year

 

Roy also never seemed to play favorites like some others are known to do. He seemed to be pretty objective.

 

Roy knows the game. I liked during Tito-Mayorga he was saying if Tito goes to the body it's over. Tito does, Mayorga goes down. He's very smart and he should do more of that when he retires which should be soon.

 

You are not the only one, Roy was a very good commenter. I'd love to see him back on the HBO team instead of Lewis.
