The German audience booed that decision and were booing Valuev during one of the fights and after he was given the decision. That alone speaks volumes.

Also, during the first few rounds of the second fight the ref interceded twice. Once when Valuev had been stunned and was stumbling along the ropes and the ref shielded him from Ruiz. The second time when Valuev resumed the fight after being separated and was vulnerable and the ref immediately again stepped between them until Valuev assumed a proper fighting stance. Even Valuev himself looked at the ref questioningly after that intervention.

As for American Judges being included, if indeed they were, they were not going to be pro Ruiz.
