My favorite boxer ever....wouldn't call him the greatest by any means. But great fighter, an unbelievable athlete and an ATG for sure.
Roy is a phenom type of fighter. More talented then anyone that ever stepped in the ring bar none. Roy had not just speed but lightning fast reflexes and BALANCE..that was his #1 thing to me..he could leap with the left hook land and throw it three more times before the other guy knew what hit him..**** you couldnt even see some of his shots from TV view. And Roy had power as well. I mean if anyone was super human in the ring..it was roy at 168...
Roy Jones was a pretty amazing fighter and very skillful. I just wonder what fighter in there prime was more talented Jones or Tyson? I would say Tyson

To me, Roy Jones Jr was the most athletic and physically talented fighter in boxing history. He was not the greatest fighter ever, but on his best night, he could very well beat anybody from 160-175 including Hagler, Monzon, Spinks, Charles, Moore, Conn, and Foster. He was simply beautiful to watch. Fast, powerful, flashy, and entertaining...his fights, most of the time, didn't even look competitive. Never will there be another fighter quite like Roy Jones.
jones was exceptionally fast with good power tyson was exceptionally fast with great power and a sturdy chin, though he does have the maturity of an 8 year old
