That boy was just plain bad. I'm thankful I was old enough to witness his greatness.

Jones never tested positive for roids so why does everyone mention it. As far as ai know Holyfield, Mosley and Toney have been caught and yet people consider them to be HOF or ATG.

As far as I am concerned if you cheat in a big way then you should never be considered a HOFer etc.

"Hall (Nevada states head of dopking) stated during interview that Jones had tested positive for anabolic steroids use when the two met back in May of 2000.

Hall stated "I now tender my resignation he (Mr Jones) has now failed four doping test (97,98,00 x2) they have also lost seven of Mr Roy Jones samples. I have written to both the NewYork and Nevada state athletic commisions stating that he (Jones) has tested positive for Testosterone Enanthate at least four times, his serum levels were 100x that of normal levels."

When pressed into the effect that would have on his performances he added: "Its like he is taking a machine gun into a knife fight his strentgh and speed would be too much for two men to overcome".

Possibly the most naturally gifted fighter ever. And one of the most unbeatable fighters in their prime. He had advantages over everyone. Only weakness was his chin which was only shown later in his career. He took some solid punches in his prime though but most couldn't touch him. So you could say in his prime, he didn't have no weakness.

Very likly the best pure athlete in the history of boxing.
Someone posted a video hear of Roy Jones taking flush shots. So we know he has been hit flush and did not get knocked out or even down by them. Not that it realy mattered he was so fast that he could avoid shots and delever hard shots of his own. I think it was Lary Merchent who described Jones as He hits hard and is hard to hit.
I'd take him over everyone at 168 and 175. I think he beats most at 160 and those that I don't fell confedient picking him over at 160 He would still have a chance at beating.

No he did. Along with Richard Hall when they fought both were found to have elevated hormone levels. Roy attributed it to a supplement called Ripped Fuel.
