There's been about 3-4 BIG threads on Jones's juicing and i'm sure you've posted in atleast one of them so i'm not going to turn this thread about that also.

    :huh

It was about the time his reflexes had started to go and he had to rely on his boxing skills :deal

    Let me break this down for you;

We'll pick three fights where each Hopkins and Jones were put in a heart test, to see what would happen when each was hit with adversity,

    HOPKINS

    Test 1:

17th December 1994, Hopkins travels to Equador to fight Segundo Mercado for the vacant IBF MW title. He is knocked down TWICE early on but rallies back and dominates Mercado only to be jobbed and given a draw despite most people having him winning.

    Test 2:

18th December 2010, 16 years on from his matchup with Mercado...Hopkins is once again on the Road fighting WBC and Ring LHW champion Jean Pascal. And again he is dropped twice early on and again rallies back to dominate the younger stronger man only to once again be only given a draw.

    Test 3:

21st May 2011, the Pascal rematch finally takes place and once again it's in Canada. Hopkins is hurt by some big shots on several occasions but puts on a masterclass and beats Pascal in his own backyard to make history and rubber stamp his greatness.

    Roy Jones Junior

    Test 1:

21st March 1997, Jones squares up against Montell Griffin. Arguably the one and only time Jones was tested in his 'prime.' Result? Jones is frustrated at by Griffin and his gameplan and mentally folds hitting Griffin while he's down and loses the match.

    Test 2:

15th May 2004, Jones vs Tarver 2. Jones is hit hard in the 2nd round for the first time in his career......beats the count but is in no shape to continue.

    Test 3:

25th September 2004, Jones up against Glen Johnson. From the offset Jones is bullied around the ring by Johnson and this fight more then any becomes the test for what RJJ heart is made of. Result? after showing himself to have no Plan B Jones is brutally KO'd by Johnson in the 9th round the KO looked soo bad that spectators thought he may actually have died in the ring.

yeah Hopkins is surely at veryclose to RJJ now. Jnr did an unstoppable force kind of acheivement taking the HW title. But Bhop is doing thie same thing by rewriting the book on human biology.

Bhop is basically doing an Usain Bolt, but at the other end of his sporting career.

You need to swap out Tarver 2 for Tarver 1.

And he sure as hell passed that test.

Let me sum up Hopkins against pure boxers :

    Vs Taylor Loss

    Vs Jones prime Loss

    Vs Calzaghe Loss

Vs Plodders in Tito : UD

    Vs Pavlik another Plodder :UD

Vs Pascal who can't box for **** : Took 2 tries to beat him !

Yet you really think anyone with an ounce of boxing savey is going to rate Hopkins over Jones who beat him with one hand when they met ?

And one last thing who's vacant IBF title were Hopkins and Mercado fighting for ? I beleive that was the one Jones vacated after he beat Hopkins !

    Keep reaching buddy :D

The late rounds of Tarver 1 are more heart and courage than Borenard Flopkins has ever shown.

You think Jermain Taylor is a pure boxer :lol: oh dear

I really like how you tried to copy my style in trying to prove a point but expose yourself as a bitter fanboy who's mad his hero is now rapping in russia to try and make a living and yet you say Pascal 'can't box for ****' but you're all over Chad Dawsons dick like white on rice :oops:

Also notice how my post was full of irrefutable accurate facts to the point even the date was correct while your immitation attempt hasn't even got the actual outcomes of some of the fights you've listed down as being correct :patsch

You don't know that because he was never drug tested until the Hall fight. He pissed hot for that very first test and I think it would be incredibly naive to think that he saw something in Hall that he needed PEDs to cope with.

If you're so original why did you try to copy my style by using the same 3 fight format as means to an analysis? :think it wouldn't have mattered if you atleast got the actual outcomes of the fight correct :nut Teeto UD?

Ofcourse you mad  your 'boy' got older his reflexes went he wasn't able to juice up then he got exposed as having no chin, no heart, no ability to fight through adversity all the while Hopkins a fighter you probably thought was miles away from Jones continued to perfect his craft and prove what a great fighter he is while your own hero continues to prove what an embarrassment he is :-(. I actually don't know what's worse....steroid cheat James Toney tapping for cash or Roy Jones rapping for it.

Pascal sucks has no boxing skills yet depsite these two facts he was still good enough to beat Dawson :deal

How bout you do this ,how bout you be original with your debate topics as opposed of jumping on the roid bandwagon before you try to talk about anyone copying anything ....

Hopkins the guy who avoided Jones like the plague after their first fight and who took the same road Jones used even using his strength and conditioning coach to make the move to lt heavy ,is this the same guy thats ahead of Jones ? Or the Hopkins that looked steller against much naturally smaller men ?

Right Hopkins is ahead ..Mastering his craft but lost to basically every boxer with pulse ..But hey hell of an oppurtunist ..The KO of Oscar to the body shot must still be up there as an all time accomplishments for Bhops and you :hey

He was saved from a tko by a cut but I know you didn't see that .. But don't worry Dawson will get his after he runs through Hopkins !:good
