Wait a minute so Glen Johnson is not any better than:

    Otis Grant
    Richard Frazier
Richard Hall (who Jones was caught using steroids against)
    Glen Kelly
    David Telesco

    Are you serious?

You might need to go and see a therapist.

No. I was giving you an example of a real WORLD CHAMPION that traveled to make fights. that is what World Champions do. Do you understand my point? There are 100's of other examples of this.

BTW, Glass Jaw Roy Jones never beat a unified, lineal, or undisputed champion in his whole career.:rofl

What about Eric Harding? Clinton Woods? Julio Cesar Gonzalez? Reggie Johnson?

These are all guys that Roy dominated, that had close fights with and even beat the step up in competition that Roy started getting knocked out by.

I would say that Roys career took a turn for the worse post Tarver II. His style relied alot of confidence an after that ko he never regained it.

David Telesco wasn't that bad back then and he was actually a pretty decent puncher, look at his KO percentage and what it would've been at the time of Jones. He was a contender, beat a few ranked LHW's. Look at his record.

Otis Grant was a police officer

Richard Hall was a contender, Ranked fighter, Gave DM all types of trouble and was a big puncher... Hall also tested positive for drug enhancements. Roy had a over the counter product that one could buy at GMC, rip fuel, not like he injected roids into his body! And he was no in his prime when he loss to Glen.

    Richard Frazier sucked big time.

Glen Kelly was a light touch and did nothing to earn a shot.

Hall and Telesco at the time of their fight with Jones, were good contenders. The other guys, light touches... nobodies.

But at LHW Jones fought many ranked guys and guys who went on to become champs in their own right after fighting him. You are obviously just picking fighters who you think would make him look bad. He fought many ranked and good guys then.

This is actually debatable, lineal titles can be just as flawed as trinket belts also. Many lineal champions have defended their lineal titles against weak competition...

Roy was the man at LHW, he was the ring champion, (ring came out with the championship as their version of the real champion) and is more legit than most other titles. Fighter of the decade, and pound for pound number one. That shits all over the lineal title that DM got from Virgil Hill, (someone way over the hill, when Jones fought him months later) and lost it to Gonzalez...

Are you telling me there was a time when Gonzalez was the man at LHW and Roy wasn't???? Why don't we ask Gonzalez who he thought the real champ was?:yep

    David Telesco :rofl:rofl

What a despicable sham Roy Jones is. A Glass Jawed fraud. His Chin is now beyond Glass. He has a Wet Toilet Paper Jaw and his punch resistance = 0.

He got knocked out by Aussie club fighter Danny Green, a guy who previously lost to Glass Jawed disgrace Anthony Mundine.:rofl:rofl:lol::lol::lol::rofl

  9. roy didn't duck ****. Just because some of the fights didn't happen, it doesn't mean roy was duckin mu****a. Will you **** on Benn, and eubanks legacy because they didn't fight roy?

  10. Bingo-****ing-O. What I have been sayin the whole time also, except I wrote it and didn't copy and paste. Roy's skills and chin declined drastically post-Ruiz. He looked like **** after coming down from all that extra weight and basically ended his career. I wrote in a wasted talent thread that Roy wasted his talent by damaging his body to go up and try to impress haters who can never be impressed like Rico and HeadGiver.

  11. You r and 1D10T. Clowning roy jones for getting knocked out by Danny Green is like clowning the present day Mike Tyson for getting knocked out by Danny Williams mu****a.

The going got tough in Tarver I and Roy showed why he was the best in the world P4P gutting out those last rounds to a decision.

I think I can translate what you just said. Anyway, there is absolutely no similarity in your comparison. Tyson declined after being in brutal wars with the cream of the Heavyweight division, and a stint in the slammer.

Roy Jones was KO'd by Tarver, powderpuff journeyman plodder Johnson, and an Aussie club fighter with a buzz cut called Danny Green :rofl:rofl:lol::lol:

He would have had another KO loss to Calzaghe had he decided not to take pity on him and instead carry him for 12 rounds via a one-sided embarrassment.

KO number 4 will happen in April against Hopkins.

  14. This **** happened after Roy destroyed himself by moving up in weight mu****a. Shid, he might has well been in the same condition as Tyson because he has been some **** ever since. See, there is a difference between ****** ass Roy haters and objective Roy critics such as myself. See, WE understand that we only debate about pre-Ruiz Roy because no body could **** wit him. You Roy haters dodge questions about pre-Ruiz Roy, but spit a bunch of bull**** about post-Ruiz Roy to try to validate your hate. Just say that you hate any boxer who talks ****, rather than jus make up bull**** reasons about why you hate him.

Wow after reading all this hate I wonder who else dominated any division that didn't fight bumbs?

Did Calzaghe dominate a steller super middle weight division ?

Did Hopkins dominate a steller middleweight division ??

The only people that had the luxaries of deep divisions during the 90's were south of 160 and North of 190 ..

Jones fought bums blah blah blah ..Johnson was a journey man who actually became a lt heavy weight champ by beating the man that beat Jones and who also may be one of the Executioners ' defining fights ..Its so nice to see how much of bum Jones is when he's 40 and how much of a glass jaw he's had for all of his 50 + fights ..Such knowledge and wisdom should be etched in stone for generations to read ..:deal
