    Personally, I would have let the fight go on, but I don't necessarily disagree with the stoppage....Jones has suffered some frighting knockouts, his health should be takin into account by the ref...

    the fight was going to end via a ko no matter what .... if the ref didnt stop it there, it would have happened soon after. Green was on fire, RJJ had nuthn on the night

    Agreed. He just happened to get him in the 1st rnd. Green was always gonna stop him. He punches a lil harder than that welsh fella.

    Roy had plenty of fight left in him.

    You cop a Green punch to the soft part of your head and see what happens. It only landed due to Roys complacency.

    Actually quite funny really. They were just feeling each other out then BAM green throws a ****ing beauty and knocks him clean down.

    Ref could have let the fight go longer, but Jones would have been seriously hurt. Who wants that? Jones did not complain.

    The shot landed behind his ear. As he was falling he was holding to his ear as if in great pain. I think it was a fair stoppage. Too dangerous a shot.

    I don't understand what this garbage is about RJJ being a glass jawed fraud, always has been. So what if he has a glass jaw and has for his entire career. He's still a certified ATG. Isn't that even more of a compliment that he achieved that level of success without being able to take a punch?

    Jones did not complain when he was in the ring. He was hurt, but all the fuss is being created by Jones and Hopkins to promoter their fight. They plan to fight anyway.
