Roy is smart. Why say your foe is a bum like Mayweather used to? If Roy loses, he lost to someone special. If he wins, it's a big win over someone special. I still laugh about how Roy gives him self so much credit for beating Ruiz. "To make history". But the true history is, he beat a top ten contender, in a weak era, for a cheesey belt. Thats not history. Archie Moore beat several heavyweight contenders, one of which, Nino Valdez, would have murdered Ruiz. Billy Conn, no bigger than Joe Calzaghe , and with no steroids beat a few heavyweights too, on his way to fighting Joe Louis. Roy beating a much bigger guy like Ruiz was no small feat, mind you. But it's hardly the history shattering achievement he makes it out to be.
