With his victory over Felix Trinidad Roy Jones Jr is probbly in line for a big fight. Most likly it will be the winer of Hopkins and Calzaghe.
If he beats either man how dose this affect his alltime p4p ranking? Also where would it place him in today's p4p rankings?
My thought is that such a win espicily at this point in Jone's career would bost his all time ranking and would put him in the top 5 in the curent rankings.
There would be certan factors involved. How convincing did B-Hop or Joe-Cal beat one another. How convincing dose Jones Jr win. What weight dose the fight take place at I can see a Hopkins fight at either 170 or 175 with hopkins titles on the line. Calzaghe could happen at 168, 170, or 175.
A win over either man would cap off a great comeback and would move him up in the p4p rankings but how far up?

A win over the winner of Hopkins/Calzaghe would put him back into the top 5 pound for pound currently and among the top 10-20 all time.

    jones looked re-energized. good performance

would jones go up to hw again and take on wlad if he beats joe/hopkins? he could really build up his legacy. remember, jones did say wlad "never better get in the ring with him with that glass jaw"

    maybe he was serious :think

I don't want this to be a Jones vs Wald thred but if Jones did beat him. He would have to be top 5 at least all time and at least top 3 curent.

It would only be relevent if the question was Calzaghe p4p ranking if he beats Hopkins and Jones.
