    #21 all time.

Currently, who knows? He's not in the top 5 175lb fighters, and that isn't a strong division. Not top 50.

Top 10 all time for me. The most gifted fghter of the 90s for sure. To be fair I dont think Roy had a big time foe or a career defining fight. Roy should have had another fight at heavyweight then called it a day. Its hard to rate Roys p4p rating now as hes not fought to often. If the Roy of old turns up to fight JC and wins RJJ becomes top 5 all time for sure and would have to be top 5 now as well.

Me neither. But these guys who are insisting that he's "Top 10" are putting him firmly in that company, despite the fact that he never fought the best of his own generation, never mind all time.

My reason for Putting Jones in that company is if in the 90s like in the good old days there was only one champ for each weight . Jones would have been middle weight supermidle weight and lt heavy weight champ. A true 3 weight world champ.

Jones' legacy is somewhat tarnished due to getting caught with banned substances in his system. I'd still have him in the top 25 somewhere probably though.

I don't see how that matters- I'm nore interested in what he actually did or didn't do.

Just out of interest and I m not taking the **** who do you think jones could have fought to improve his record.

I would be the first to admit I am Jones fan for sure but the only problems I have with roy I would like to have seen him fight a bit more at heavy and then call it a day

Dariusz Michaelczewski, Nigel Benn, Eubank, Hopkins II wouldn't gone astray.

Benn, Nunn, DM, Eubank, Toney II, Hopkins II, you know, the usual suspects.

I know were your coming from Nunn was the one person I would really liked to have to seen. I rember watching somthing with benn on saying he couldent beat jones but **** that would have been a great fight and to be honest I think Benn would have been a nightmare for jones.

I all ways wondered why the toney rematch dident happen at light heavy or a catch weight ( I guess toney was a bit to heavy by then)
Hopkins IMO wanted no more of jones. Eubanks vs jones would have been dull I think.

Again not taking the **** how would you rate jones if these matches took place and came out as wins? Who if any would be you choice to have beat jones ?

If he won all of these i'd put him inside my top 20 for sure. If we imagine Roy Jones winning these fights then staying at HW post-Ruiz, losing to a top HW, I'd place him 12-7, taking into account skillset etc.
