This content is protected Words from the Great Roy Jones...He's ready to shake up the ESB world! haha:happy Small Interview on some Boxing Scene
Jones has underrated body punching ability. He has brutalized men to the body and probably will do the same to Joe. If he was in shape, he would have destroyed Glen Johnson but fate is fate. No matter how many punches you throw, once that arm is stretched out, your body is compromised.

I actually think Jones could win this, albeit unlikely. I thought he looked very good against Trinidad, and Calzaghe won't be the biggest puncher Roy has faced. But Roy will have to be at his best this time. I think the handspeed will at least keep him in this fight. And his excellent ring generalship.
I agree with Jones... Calzaghe is going to look in slow motion, even compared to a faded Jones. (IF......Jones jr. is even the same fighter he was against Trinidad.)
He also said he intentionally lost to Tarver in the rubber match because if he won his Daddy would take credit for it and that if he didn't KO Trinidad he would NEVER fight again. That being what it it.....I hope Roy ****s Joe up!
I think Jones will be inspired that night. He'll stand square on and pick Calzaghe apart with single, improvised shots. There's always a chance though that Calzaghe will end the fight - effectively anyway- with a left over the top.
That's funny that Jones discredits the Hopkins win because B-hop was at the end of his career. Where exactly at this point in time does Jones believe his own career to be? HMMM!?
If I was in Timbuktu, and Jones said the sun was shinning, I'd open my umbrella before going out. Jones has fought no live bodies since losing to Johnson, and Tiny Tito don't count. Jones was in shape for Johnson, but he lost his legs....Cal as much as I don't care for him still has his legs. Jones did not go out and buy a new set of legs...he will try to rope a dope one way or another..... God how I hate rooting for Cal....but root I will.
He knows it. If he loses to calzaghe, RJJ was a shot fighter who made a valiant comeback but lost to the great undefeated joe calzaghe...
Good to see you posting again BoBo. :good Neither of these guys compares to the 90's LHW's: a prime Dariusz Michalczewski and a prime Roy Jones Jr.
