In this interview Jones states that Canelo v Jacobs could be an all-time great clash because it`s a great boxer v a great counter puncher, is he right?

Perhaps he means better than his win over Ruiz.

Oh the joy of seeing a man of nearly 50 years dressing like a member of 80s Guns and Roses.

Is that with the rehydration clause or without?

Roy likes fights and he is probably spot on. When Canelo is in with a great opponent his fights are great. Whenever he fights British guys it seems to be lackluster, minus Khan. So he has a great run minus Smith and Fielding. If we start at Cintron on up its been nothing but great fights.

how would you guys rate Jacob's power. Most people do not rate it that big, but I think it is decent.

i believe the power is very similar to Canelo's. thing is, Canelo got the better chin. Jacobs on the other hand, i doubt he can survive for 12 rounds

    It might be.
On the other hand it might end up to be dull as soup.

"ever" is probably hyperbole, but it is a really great fight, and i can't wait for it.

I want to see Jacobs put one decent right hand on Canelo.. I think he might land one punch at a time better than GGG.

I think Saunders would give Canelo a great fight though.

IBF belt (Jabobs holds) is on the line, 10lb rehydration clause would be in effect regardless

yeah but after the body shots i doubt he will carry the same punch. this fight def is 50/50 but i just believe its Canelo's time and he aint going to allow Jacobs to be the guy hatt dethrones him, especially because GGG got the W against miracle man

Take away Canelo's cooked cards, PED's, and all other forms of corruption available to him through golden boy and this fight would look like a national golden gloves champion MW open class against a novice class welterweight amateur with an even wins/loss record. Otherwise, ya, could be a he'll of a fight.
