not me, I dont think Calzaghe boxes RJ ears off. That would b his 1st mistake, to try and OUTBOX Roy Jones. Hi best chance of winning at this point would b 2 pressure him. But Calzaghe not gon do that. Trust me in the back of evry fighters mind, they know RJ still got that handspeed and power that they must respect. RJ is going to surprise evry1 in the game WATCH

 

I don't think Hopkins would throw enough punches to beat Roy and Roy definitely hits harder than Hopkins. Don't get me wrong though. I wouldn't bet any money on Roy. lol

I hope he does! I realy do. But Joe is faster than him now and much much more confident. Roy was never a great "boxer" in terms of his technical skills per say. I now think that he lacks the physical attributes to beat someone like Calzaghe. He still has good power, but Calzaghe has a great chin.

 

Yeah fair enough. But Roy hasn't been throwing alot lately ether and he is much more easy to hit than Hopkins nowadays.

True enough but I can't see Hopkins knocking Roy out. I can see Roy knocking him out if he catches him though. You never know when Hopkins might start to really act his age in the ring too.

I dont think Joe at this stage of the game is faster than Roy Jones.
Calzaghe has ast hands no doubt, but I still dont think his handspeed is superior.
I give RJ a dam good ashot 2 beat Calzaghe, watch, people are going to b shocked. But this is how RJ wants it, every1 left him 4 dead b/c of 2 losses when his body was recovering. And any1 that does boxing knows, or weight lifting or plays any sports rather. If you gain muscle especially 20 somethin pounds of solid muscle, and then lose it by starvation and sterenuous workouts, and then do somethin like boxing after, you body needs time to heal itself, and recover. That is wat happened 2 RJ. But his body is reccoping, and he will shock you guys. Watch

 

I hope so, Go Roy!! IMO the Tito fight will give us a good indicator as to how he is still doing.

 

Tito is enough to worry about right now. Roy needs to worry about getting past him before he can even think about fighting a Joe Calz.

 

Calzaghe doesn't beat even todays version of Jones...:nono Jones is still faster, hits harder, and Calzaghe is no master technical boxer either...Jones will always be better than Calzaghe at his own game...i'd put the house on Jones if Calzaghe found the cojones to make the fight...
