Look people . . . I'm not a hater . . . but RJJ is simply no longer in a position to demand what he wants . . . after all the recent bull**** performance? :-(

A victory over the long time inactive Trinidad is not an accomplishment he can bragged off.

Roy Jones Jr. is still an all-time great fighter with bigger speed, power, and name that Bernard Hopkins...so you can't tell me Hopkins is a bigger fight for Calzaghe than Jones...

RJJ is a pale imitation of his former self. He has aged ten years in the last 3. Undoubtely one of the best fighters in the last 15 years or so and he's gonna do what most of the great fighters do.....continuing fighting and losing badly to people they would once have destroyed and therefore undoing a lot of the good work that went before. Tragic.

Which Magnet is Roy talking about? The one that pointed towards the Hospital against Glen Johnson? I don't know what is Roy talkin about cause let me see - he was supposed to fight Tito and then he's sayin that he's gonna get up from there again to do some fireworks party with someone who's scared of him and something bad is gonna happen again. I didn't get anything from that article, seems like new lyrics from RJJ the rapper.

it doesn't matter that Jones' has slipped physically, he still isn't shot, and is still faster with more power than Calzaghe...Calzahge has the mental edge, which makes this fight a must see for me...

I'd still pick a shot Roy Jones to beat Calzaghe. Not easily but in a close UD or SD.

Obviously the prediction of the fight outcome is debatable (JC UD;) ) but my point is that it's a damn shame that Roy feels the need to put himself through this. I want to remember him as the great, great fighter he was, not what he is becoming.

what is greater than a fighter that constantly seeks challenges? i think Roy is proving his heart by challenging elite guys like Calzaghe...losses don't make the fighter, wins do...i can KO 100 bums then retire undefeated, and still not be ****...

A fighter that knows when to call it a day? Hey, we ain't ever going to agree on this one! I just wish they'd got it on five years ago.

Yeah an all time great, I don't argue with that but he's past his prime and he can't dictate his will anymore like when he was on top of the chain.

You don't see his name in the top ten P4P list anymore, right? :think

    That's my point. :yep

my point is if RJJ looks good against Tito, then calls out Calzaghe, no one can tell me that Hopkins is a bigger threat, or has a bigger name than RJJ...
