"That's the big one. I can't wait. I love both fighters. Both are two-time gold medalists. That's the best paper made fight ever. You can't find two fighters better on paper to put against each other. That's the best fight I ever seen made on paper, and I can't wait."

Do you agree w/ Roid Jones?

I thought 2009-2010 Pacquiao-Mayweather was the best fight on paper.

I think Roid Jones meant talent and skills wise.

I mean, I think that JMM-Mikey or Matthysse-Maidana are more scintillating fights on paper than Loma-Rigo, but not the most talented and skills wise.

Great HOF vs HOF on paper fights

Greb vs Tunney, Greb vs Walker, Greb vs Loughran, Greb vs Flowers, Tunney vs Loughran, Tunney vs Dempsey, Walker vs Flowers, Walker vs Britton, Pancho Villa vs McLarnin, Taylor vs McLarnin

Armstrong vs Ross, Ross vs Canzoneri, Ross vs McLarnin, Canzoneri vs Berg, Canzoneri vs Chocolate, McLarnin vs Leonard, Berg vs Chocolate

    Robinson vs Armstrong
, Robinson vs LaMotta, Charles vs Louis, Pep vs Saddler, Louis vs Conn, Lamotta vs Cerdan, Williams vs Gavilan

Robinson vs Gavilan, Robinson vs Fullmer, Robinson vs Basilio, Moore vs Marciano, Moore vs Johnson, Gavilan vs Basilio, Marciano vs Charles, Marciano vs Louis, Saddler vs Brown, Saddler vs Elorde, Basilio vs Fullmer

Jofre vs Harada, Jofre vs Saldivar, Ali vs Moore, Ortiz vs Elorde, Ortiz vs Brown, Griffith vs Benvenuti, Griffith vs Napoles, Griffith vs Tiger, Benvenuti vs Tiger, Tiger vs Fullmer, Tiger vs Foster

Monzon vs Napoles, Monzon vs Benvenuti, Monzon vs Griffith, Gomez vs Zarate, Ali vs Foster

Leonard vs Hagler, Leonard vs Hearns, Leonard vs Duran, Hagler vs Hearns, Sanchez vs Gomez, Spinks vs Holmes, Pryor vs Arguello, Tyson vs Holmes, Tyson vs Spinks, Holmes vs Ali

Whitaker vs Chavez, Whitaker vs Trinidad, Whitaker vs De La Hoya, Jones vs Toney, Jones vs Hopkins, Holyfield vs Tyson, Holyfield vs Holmes, Chavez vs De La Hoya, Trinidad vs De La Hoya, Hopkins vs Trinidad, Norris vs Leonard

Pacquiao vs Morales, Pacquiao vs Marquez, Pacquiao vs Barrera, Pacquiao vs De La Hoya, Mayweather vs Marquez, Mayweather vs De La Hoya, Hopkins vs Calzaghe, Hopkins vs Jones 2, Morales vs Barrera, Calzaghe vs Jones, Marquez vs Barrera

Strictly speaking, with Armstrong vs Robinson the consensus #1 fighter vs the consensus #2 all time p4p, I don't know how you get better on paper. Want one of the greatest defensive fighters vs one of the all time greatest offensive fighters Pep vs Saddler. Ezzard Charles and Archie Moore fought each other a couple of times. Whitaker vs Chavez wasn't that long ago, and Pacquiao vs Mayweather practically just happened.

But matchmaking isn't just putting two big names together. Rigo and Loma aren't equally matched so this fight will likely suck.

I have been thinking that this fight may well be the best fight that this generation will get to see for years to come. Both fighters are fantastic to watch. One is a go forward fighter that creates angles and confuses his opponents by changing rhythm and pace with a multitude of different patterns. The other fighter works off what the other fighter feeds to him, and is second to none as a counter fighter with sharp reflexes and can peel off decent punches as fast as lightning.

Rigo needs a fighter like Loma, just so he can be seen as an exciting fighter. Loma needs Rigo so he can show that he is as good as he is made to look against other fighters who have no idea how to treat his method of boxing.

Rigo and Loma is in my view the very best fight on paper at this time. The only one who might turn this matchup into a real stinker is Loma. His workrate will take a dive if and when he finds out Rigo is a master of countering his style of boxing.I think Loma will be drained of almost every ounce of confidence the first few times he throws and hits nothing but air.

If he can land at will, then I will give him all the accolades he will so richly deserve.

For me its Rigo by UD.

On paper it's the biggest fight right now. Hopefully it will be as good as we expect it should be. It could be a Sweet Pea vs DLH which if I were judging that fight I would have it as a no contest. They did not match up style wise.

This is an incredible fight that I can't believe isn't being talked about more

The skill level in this fight will make Canelo vs GGG look like two drunken idiots fighting outside of Taco Bell

Loma doesn't have enough power for this to be a greatest fight on paper ever status. If you can't bang hard enough to get Orlando Salido to back off then you have very obvious and clear vulnerabilities. And I say this as a Lomachenko fan. I like the guy in all seriousness, but we should calm down here.

And Rigo is 37 years old now. Can't see how a 37 year old can bring that type of talent and athleticism to the ring.

Yes on paper because there's never been anything even close to it in terms of their overall career success (Amateur and professional).
If you just go on professional accomplishments it isn't (imo)
