Roy wants it, Hopkins wants it, but at this point the fans couldn't care less for them fighting.

  3. Of course. He's had a day to think about it and now figures he has an excuse to keep his payday alive. Give me a break.

Yeah, no **** he does. Figures if he can squeeze out his last few bucks trading off his "legend" - why the hell not?

    This is getting sad, really.

Agreed, maybe Roy needs to beat someone first then this could be his farewell fight.

I still think that RJJ will be so motivated by fighting Hopkins, that he could win by decision. I don't think Hopkins has the power to stop RJJ. I would not miss the fight if it happens.

Once he realised that Hopkins still wanted the fight he convinced himself it was an unfair stoppage. Whilst Hopkins should win that fight easily it is by far the biggest payday for both right now, especially if it happens on Pac/May undercard.

I wish it would be the undercard, that would be awesome. Roy is a true fighter and I respect he that he refuses to quit, but he could still be a problem to most fighters out there, despite him dwindling downhill

Although I think the stoppage was arguably premature, I also think that you're right that Jones is making an issue after he realized Hops still wants the fight. Like i said i think jones was defending himself and blocking punches, but why was jones holding green's arm if he really had issue with the decision?
