    Again with facts.

Jones actually defeated most of the fighters he and DM share on their resumes FIRST.

11 of the 14 fighters he faced at LHW were either Top 10 ranked or champions (not USBA champs either). And Hopkins BTW, didn't fight a single top fighter near their prime for nearly a decade. I don't see you having issue with that.

As for the two REAL fights Jones took? Subjective. And you don't seem to be cutting him any slack there.

Jones vs Johnson 2 is now and always will be just another KO loss for Jones.

Bernard didn't even sell his share of tickets to the Calzaghe fight as far as I heard, and it's not as if there are a ton of big money fights out there for him at this point. Calzaghe could fight bums at home and fill stadiums. 40% against Jones would have been much more than Bernard could have made against anybody else at that point as well. As far as I'm concerned neither of them ducked anybody.

I think you'll find what are considered the most "knowledgable" fans here disagree with nearly that entire statement.

You seem to hold Jones to a higher standard than Hopkins. Who fought no big name MW's, signed a contract with Calzaghe then backed out. You're accusing Jones of ducking fighters not in his weight class and who lost their shots at him because they lost fights. Seems a bit off IMO.

And he gave Calzaghe parity because Hopkins wanted to fight in the states. The fight would have made more money in Wales for Calzaghe. To get him to come here, Hopkins made that concession. He didn't have any cards to play with Jones.

I would like to see Hopkins vs Glen Johnson.
It would give Glen a chance to redeem himself against Hopkins.

Yeah, that about sums it up. GJ is the last guy on Earth RJJ should rematch at this point in his career. With his shot legs, reflexes, and high guard/stationary defense, it could very much end up like the first first all over again. GJ is just way to tenacious, hungry, and active for a guy like RJJ.

great post kg, but dont worry as I have said be4. If an RJ vs Calzaghe fight happens. I am 100% sure RJ will win. RJ mayb shot, but thats by RJ standards. Against other fighters he can still beat about 85% of them. And I never believe calzaghe was that good anyway. Dont worry Kg, RJ will make a believer out of these guys, and if you lost faith he will make you one as well

Johnson will most likely end up as Diaconu's mandatory and his very next fight, if Dawson fights Tarver.

Roy was quoted as saying that if the Calzaghe fight does not go through, he would like to fight Glen Johnson

Jones actually said on live TV that he would like to rematch Glen Johnson, you should not assume that professional boxers are as big pussies as you are.

True...forgot about that. He said he thought Johnson v. Dawson was 50/50 and that since 80% of people thought he was the most impressive of the four on the night, Johnson was his man.

  14. Roy knows better, and would get KO'D again:dead Roy probaly sees Glen in his nightmares..
