Green couldn't beat Joe!! C'mon mate what u smoking cos i'll have some of that......... As Lefty alluded to, Green wouldn't lay a hand on Joe. Luv to see Josey response on this matter
Beyer was starting to regroup, Green shouldn't have needed to keep punching Beyer if he was that strong a puncher. Green is a strong, pushing sort of puncher, he doesn't have that explosive turn your lights out sort of power. He never knocked out anyone worth a damn.
Greens record stands head and shoulders above many, regardless of what name an opponent wears the jobs gotta get done. Green has ended empahtically many hardened fighters with strong chins whether they be locals or internationals. Greens punished %80 of the guys he has fought you dont do that with feather fists, he aint no Sven Otke. Your argument about KO's and drawing a distinction from TKO's included is hard to fathom logic. Put up 10 boxers currently going round who you think punches harder than Green....in Greens current wieght division.
Rather than be a smart ass show the forum how onto it you are and have a crack at answering the question I put to Lefty. Put up 10 boxers currently going round who you think punches harder than Green....in Greens current wieght division. Give your best shot.
What relevance do other boxers have to Danny Green? We are talking about Danny Green and who he has fought, what the **** does any other boxer have to do with it? Who has Green knocked out? People bringing up Lucas, Lucas quit on his knee, not on his back.
Well he certainly wasn't on his knee having a rest from all the pillow shots to the head he'd been taking.
This is the relevance..............you brought it up. Why not qaulify your coments further and name 10 other fighters who are currently getting around at the same wieght as Green and can punch harder. I dont doubt there are.
Green / Calzaghe would have been a decent fight kel and if Danny had fought Joe when Joe was having an "off night" then it could have been close but Joe always found a way to win even when his preformance was shite , however Calzaghe v Green with Calzaghe "on song " ? Joe by wide UD imo .
You being the Massive Calzaghe fan you claim to be should know and be honest enough to admit that Joe stunk the joint out a few times , all i suggested in my post was it would have been a close fight IF Greenie would have fought him on one of these occasions , but then again your reputation of being a fan boy as opposed to a boxing fan will have no doubt blinded you from forming an honest opinion like mine for youself . :deal
Agreed but even those times it wasn't close on the cards and who was green through his rough patch?? Calzaghe wide UD on a good or bad night.
