I was criticized for stating that Jones joined the ranks of a gatekeeper. Fighting in Sydney for what I heard was 1 million dollars, where in his hayday, he won't even discuss that amount if it was a sparring match.

Good Luck to Roy. I Hope he sees sense and retires for good.

I never want to see Hopkins go out like this.

Green had to go down in weight against Mundine with very limited amount to prepare.

WTF are you talking about, Green had fought every fight of his career at super middle and had been talking about fighting Mundine from almost the time he turned pro.

Man its a terrible way for a great fighter to end his career but I'm happy that he didnt get hurt.

He can ask for a rematch or he can fight Anderson Silva.

I was at the fight tonight only 15 rows back. RJJ's left was way too low and Green capitalised. It could have been stopped sooner as Roy's legs were gone. Very expensive short night!!!!!

I've talked to one of the organizers of that fight in Sydney. The fight was held at supermiddleweight, when Green had actually had hard time going in that weight already. He fought above 172 or ligh-heavy to cruiserweight in his fights after that.

This guy knows his boxing in Australia (which is not much to begin with) and he did not have kind words for mundine.

Noone has kind words for Mundine in Australia. Green came in under the super middle limit in all his major fights so i have a hard time buying the weight loss excuse. Also Green was never a Cruiserweight, the Jones fight and his previous fight he weighed in at 81kg, remembering the light heavy limit is 79kg so not much of a difference obviously.

What is it with Mundine? That guy is so hated in his own country he makes Floyd look like Mother Theresa.
