Im an Aussie, so I was backing Danny regardless.

I just never seen Jones being able to take Greens punches.

I got $5s for a Green KO, and Green was paying $3s the win, but
he was only ever going to win by KO.

It was just a matter of Green being able to corner RJJ..

I knew Danny would walk through anything Roy thrown, but I
was not sure whether Green would be able to track Roy down.

Danny Greens a KO artist and Roy has a suspect jaw, you do the maths
and see Roy is $1.30 chance, when alot is working against him.

I wouldn't say worse than Tarver or Johnson because the right hand landed on the top of the head, but he was hurt repeatedly and had the ref not stopped it, he would have been knocked out again like he was with those guys. He should retire. Green is not a guy who should beat Roy in one round. No offence to Green.

Damn Roy. What a way to end a great career.
But I'm not pitying the man, he's already wealthy and he can focus on a very lucrative job commentating for HBO. He's 40 years old and in great shape, he's got many years left to enjoy. In fact, writing this I'm getting a little bit envious.

You weren't criticized, you were corrected. He earned $3 million for this fight, not 1 . You implied it was some embarrassingly low purse for him, when in reality this wasn't much lower than other semi-mega fight purses he'd earned. And to say he'd reach gatekeeper status would mean he'd continue on fighting prospects and nobodies. I don't think he will. If he continues, Hopkins will most likely be his last fight.
