hey pussywipe, do you know what i loved most about when a shot to **** joe calzaghe travelled to america and handed him his ass? :think

it was the that joe didn't win the fight because of roys fraudulent chin, calzaghe won the fight by the use of skills, boxing roys head off in a one sided beatdown from the centre of the ring, no-ones ever done that to drugs cheat jones. the difference in class was huge. :yep

joe calzaghe 'lacy'ied' roy jones junior :deal

When Jones fought Toney, Jones was in his prime.
When Calzaghe fought Kessler he was past his prime.

Toney was struggling with the SMW weight limit and was dry at the weight and never fought at SMW again.
Kessler was a strong SMW that stayed at the weight.

Kesslers SMW resume going into his fight with Calzaghe was far superior to Toneys SMW resume, and Kessler was a much better SMW than Toney.

With all that in mind and knowing that Toney was weak at the weight, I think Calzaghe would have beaten Jones. Remember when Calzaghe and Jones fought, Calzaghe beat Jones on skill

Easy fight for Jones, Calzaghe wouldn't even get in on him without paying for it. Jones would eventually stop him or knock him out. This thread is a joke.

    Some facts:

Calzaghe UD RJJ took place in November 2008, 2 fights and 2 years after Calzaghe UD Kessler.

Roy Jones Jr UD Toney took place in November 1994, 14 years prior to his defeat to Calzaghe.

If people base their view on this fight on Calzaghe UD RJJ 2008 they need to :patsch.

RJJ was landing 4 left hooks at a time vs James Toney and was hardly hit by the #1 P4P, who had beaten McCallum Barkley Nunn

Calzaghe was eating uppecuts in the early rounds by the #2 SMW in the world, whose best win was Andrade.

According to Chuck Giampa, a judge who never liked Hopkins, you probably not aware of that. And Mr. Giampa retired 2 weeks after that fight too. Makes you kind of wonder. But if you wanna use that Idiot as a bench mark, than on the contrary I can also bring up the fact that almost most of all the ring side obserbers had Hopkins winning, including one of the judges, oh you forgot about that though.

Judges scorecards are wrong at times, are you saying to me Roy Jones Jr UD Hopkins was a tighter fight than Calzaghe SD Hopkins

Just coz he got the highest single score against Hopkins dont mean he won the fight or it was the biggest defeat given to Hopkins.

Roy Jones Jr UD Hopkins is the clearest of all Hopkins loses.
