:good, and he's the only fighter till this day that everybody, including myself thinks beat Hopkins because he did. Calzaghe didn't.

I can see JC beating Toney or Bhop in their respective primes. Not saying it was a certainty, just that it could happen. Especially the Toney that had a gift for losing or drawing fights that he shouldn't.

But JC beat RJJ? No. It wouldn't happen. RJJ wipes his ass with all of them.

Jones that fought Toney was something else, would beat everyone from 160-175 over the last 20 years IMO

No most at Ringside didnt have Hopkins winning :patsch.
If Hopkins wasnt happy about a judge he could have protested, someone retiring dosent make me wonder or think anything. Why would someone retire after a scorecard that some dont agree with? Think Lewis and Holyfield 1 for example.
The judge that had Hopkins winning gave Hopkins round 11, a clear Calzaghe round, which even Hopkins nuthuggers score for Calzaghe
Absolutely scores can be wrong but consider then the other judges card who had Calzaghe winning 115-112 clearly compared to the close score for Hopkins, read above

Hopkins did speak about the judges later on especially that chuck giampa who scored Jermain Taylor to have beatn Hopkins also.

I personally can accept Calzaghe given 6 rounds, and thats me being lenient to Calzaghe. But I dont understand how Chuck Giampa gave 9 rounds to Calzaghe.

Also all 3 judges scored round 11 to Hopkins.

Round 10, before the fake low blow Calzaghe and Hopkins were just in clinches, then after the low blow Hopkins got rejuvinated and beat Calzaghe pretty badly but 2 of the 3 judges gave it to Calzaghe.

I dont really give a **** about that robbery anymore since Calzaghe and Hopkins both moved on. It may be called a boring fight, but since I followed both Calzaghe's and Hopkins careers I can watch it and appreciate the mental chess match they were in. I had never seen Calzaghe and his dad that worried before, and Hopkins didnt look like he was focused going to the wrong corner 4 times in the fight, but in his next fight came out in the executioner mask fully motivated.

The only way for this debate to finish was a rematch.

I have to admit, I am bored with Calzaghe vs Hopkins debates.
I can understand Calzaghe not giving Hopkins a rematch, Hopkins pulled out years ago leaving Joe high and dry, also Calzaghe gets slated for the win with many saying it wasnt credible, so I dont think a rematch would do much for either.

We will never agree on the subject. I had Calzaghe a clear winner and was surprised it was a SD. Still we move on

That's because your fan, and everybody post here can see that. Your bias, i'm objective. I'm not big fan of anybody, so I don't have blindfolds on. But if you want to think he dominated Hopkins, you can go ahead with that belief, but it's easy to do that when you convince yourself something, it's called denial, and the fact that Calzaghe got the decision, of course you and everyone who claimed they had him winning is gonna stand by it, he won.

And maybe you should check your memory bank because, Dan Rafeal, steve bunce(who's from great britian) and several other ring side obserbvers like Brain Kenny thought Hopkins won.

Im not even sure Calzaghe beats the Toney that fought Jones to be honest. Its not that Calzaghe wasnt good, he was, but these guys were just superior overall fighters. Hopkins too. Joe had the biggest heart and the most will of them though and thats why he would be competitive with them.

I'm not at all sorry to say that i can not see any way that in their respective primes Roy Jones all the UD or TKO

To say that Calzaghe outboxed Jone in their fight and that proves his boxing ability can't really stand.

Glengoffe(True bad man) was out boxing Roy in there bout pre KO on work rate.

One of my favorite boxers but no one would ever even try to say that he could outbox Roy.

I agree with the sentiment earlier i dont even know if he could beat Toney.

amazing people says Jones was China chinned....

Ring Magazine in 2001 rated Jones Chin as the 2nd best in Boxing ....ROFL.....

Ray Leanord got blown away by Hector Comacho...late in his career....no one judges him on that fight or the one with Norris

Jones Jnr... at his peak best middle/super middle ever imo!!! Wins by UD with 4-6 rounds in it but Calzaghe would push him closer than anyone else as i have him no 2 at smw at his peak before the dodgy hands when he could ko people.

Regardless of me being a fan or not, MOST had Calzaghe beating Hopkins as the scorecards reflect.
There were also more observers that felt Calzaghe won like E Steward, Saad Muhamed, Woodhall etc and by far wider margins.

You are so impartial that it really seems to burn you that Calzaghe beat Hopkins and Jones :smoke. Accept it. It happend
