    I'm as big a Jones fan as you could get....but damn this is stupid. Louis would kick the **** out of Jones, it wouldn't even be a fight. Jones doesn't belong at HW which is why he only had 1 fight there.

    Louis had extremely good handspeed for a heavyweight, superlative punching technique, and threw some of the prettiest combinations in the history of the sport. He was naturally bigger than RJJ and I think he makes that count in the later rounds of a fight where Jones would be extremely reluctant to engage with any more than one punch at a time.

    Right round...wrong result.

    168 lb Jones beats Louis as well. How big of a threat is a stationary cruiserweight with bad defense, and a one track mind? .." Oh, he throws compact punches. "

    Jones would probably KO half the stiffs that Louis had as well.

    If Glen Johnson and Antonio Tarver can turn the trick and kayo Jones, then so can Joe Louis, who is light years ahead of those two in terms of talent and technique.

    Not only is that pretty disrespectful, it's 100% bull****. You need to watch some Louis fights, he was a great, great fighter. So was Jones, I loved to watch the guy but he's too damn small to give Louis problems.
