Good post. I think the reality of it would be that the majority of boxers couldn't pass those deeper tests after a few years as pros.

Very sad to hear. I hope the treatments work for him and more importantly, he finds the will to stay OUT of the ring.

Btw. some of you say that the brain needs like 6-7 months to heal. This ain't true, your brain won't heal from damages otherwise people like Ali would be healthy right now.

I am still pissed off that people approved Ali to fight Holmes. I love this sport but things like that aren't right and show just how messed up boxing can be to allow guys like that to still fight.

How about writing a letter to Roy from ESB forum, an official one letter that says he shall retire and people would be signing up there..

Yup you can see it in his fights he is all off balance and seems like he doesnt know when to plant his feet to throw a punch. Just retire Roy!

Yep, that was terrible to watch. It was exactly the same when they showed Bowe talking after the Holyfield fight compared to how he sounded after Golota.

That chiropractor isn't going to do ****.

He needs to go to a specialized vertigo physical therapy clinic. He is probably having vestibular issues from the massive punches he took. Something could be out of wack with his ears, not his ****ing cranium - that is irreversible.

Is too little too late, the damage is done all he can do is slow it down but he wont be able to stop it.

Is too sad but none of this fighters know when to quit and retire. Most athletes are like this but in another sport you stay longer you look stupid and slow in boxing you **** up your health for the rest of your life.

The millions you make at the end are really not worth it if you cant enjoy them.

    :hat

A lot of boxers experience what Roy is experiencing, most just dont acknowledge it or do anything about it. Props to Roy for addressing it. Studies have shown that about 90% of professional boxer suffer from some kind of brain damage. Aftre over 50 pro fights, its probably a much higher percentage if not 100%.
