    Who wins this?

I think Jones' superior speed will be the difference.

Eddie liked guys who came at him.

He shined against Marvin Johnson and Jerry Martin, but these guys came straight in and lacked defense.

    Jones by UD.

Agreed with every word. However, I will say, even as Roy's biggest fan, Roy would have to be VERY careful of Eddie's right hand.

Eddie M....one of those "what if" guys, who could have been "much more".

Eddie had so much talent like another Jones Jr victim James Toney. A
disciplined Eddie could have achieved greatness but like Toney wasn't
his best against fast footwork . Roy too fast , too slick for a lethargic
Eddie who preferred opponents who came to him.
    Jones on pts.

I guess we're at LH here? I'll take the 'uber-talented' Eddie here (if his head was on straight). If Roy wants to pile up some points/rounds here he has to 'engage', more than just occasionally, and would taste some BIG rights and hooks both upstairs and downstairs and...Jones is not going to stop Gregory in ANY scenario and I can't, with any certainty, say the opposite. Of course the 'enigma' Eddie has to have his head on straight. My $0.02
