First of all, I'm new to ESB, so allow myself to introduce...myself... Hi:hi: Anyway, does anyone know if this will be on TV for viewers living in the UK? I'm thinking Setanta, Sky Sports, Sky Box Office (doubt it) and Eurosport. His last fight was Against Ajamu, on Eurosport. I'm thinking, because this is a big hall-of-fame fight, either setanta or sky sports will get it. I hope sky get it, because i think they have a better service, but setanta is still good, dont get me wrong. However, setanta have been doing special features during their boxing matches, showing up-coming fights - of one these was RJJ V FTT. This may lead me to thinking that setanta will get it. However, Sky sports have had lots of information and news about RJJ, not Trinidad, but RJJ. They've also had lots of news about the fight itself. So I cant predict what channel its going to be on; but does anyone know what channel it will be on?? Any help would be great K
Jones was a decent amateur but got beat by a Korean at the Olympics , Trinidad looked promising but was dispatched easily by Bernard Hopkins and hasn't done much since .
I dont think this fight is much of an event anywhere, let alone the UK. King will probably demand serious money to our tv companies to show it. Setanta might put it up live and so may skysports. Its more of a freak show fight than big fight, a bit like Tyson - Holyfield 3 would be, but without the heavyweight attraction.
Boxing veterans - Jones has fought mainly at light heavyweight. This fight will be at a catchweight of 170lbs.
Welcome to the brit forum KDot10! :welcome Nothing appears to have been announced yet for UK viewers. Don't know if HBO's ppv deal is exclusive or if Don King is negotiating anything with Sky/Setanta. Have to be honest - its not a fight that really appeals to me but hopefully someone will pick it up for those interested. Even if its not shown live there may be a delayed airing.
