90`s Foreman`s jab would have been a problem, by by 2002 I think Roy could have outpointed the 52 year George.

Toney would have beaten 90`s Foreman.

In the rematch Peter was able to outjab Toney.

Peter. The man who doesn't even know how to spell jab.

Toney was out of shape for that fight I`m talking about when he beat Holy, he looke far better than Foreman did v Holy in `91.

No, Foreman would have sparked him and landed a ton of jabs.

Charlie I agree with your views on this fight 1000% but Mark"s no troll...he has that outside the box mindset that results in topics of discussion.

I too think jones at HW is leading to revisionist hysteria....so this kind of topic Mark started is relavent....even this upcoming Tyson thing has some relavence...

Jones from 1988-2003 looked invincible...but only 1 fight was at HW against a top 7-8 middling guy...not against the klitchkos, lewis hell even anyone of the calibre of a lost generation 1980s American HW (tubbs, biggs, spoon take your pick)....

Jones"s long afterlife 2008-2018 as a shot finished Cruiserweight has also revealed his krptonite all along was his chin...but in great times for 15 years no one could land 1 decent shot on it...his reflexes ,equilibrium and coordination were that good perhaps the best reflexes of all time.....once they left...his modus operandi came apart.....even though the hand speed remained...without the reflexes it was like a tv with no remote. His defence had to be adapted to hsnds up...and that took away another second to delivery....the chin that was protected by his reflexes....was like a rotten piece of meat cooked in expensive olive oil a fancy sauce...once u took away the oil and sauce...it was exposed for what it was.

We're pitting a great Roy Jones, jnr here going up against George Foreman....the 2nd version....especially from 1988-1992 ...was a defensively adept, iron chinned, brutally strong legend still with a murderous punch....he had an off night with Morrison....but at 43/44 your not allowed a off night its,all your ages fault ...Morrisoj himself as a legit 240lber with hand speed, arheticism, heart and power was no joke......hell a Morrisson who wasnt into drugs and living the fast life mightve been the bert cooper or oliver mccall figure vs E Holyfield or L Lewis.......even the creaking 1994-98 Foreman...never really lost a fight vs briggs, moorer, schultz or Savarese...they were big heavyweights.

Foreman would swat aside jones clinically inside 4 rounds...like he did most competent cruisers early in in his comeback.....he lands once ....take your pick if its an uppercut or a left hook or right cross either way it's a 20 count...if jones wobbles...its a clinical 3-4 punch massacre like vs cooney and a 20 count

90s Foreman got his head jabbed off by Schulz, Moorer and Alex Stewart. Why did Foreman go life and death with Alex Stewart, not spark him, when Tyson took him out in a round?

But he schooled Peter first time round when Peter fought his usual fight.

When Peter fought like a bigger man in the rematch he had no way of getting close to him and landing anything of significance.

If there's one thing Old Foreman could do, it's fight like a bigger man.

Of course he looked better than Foreman did.

Foreman faced the best ever Holyfield that existed. Toney beat the worst.
