Spinks was a tall aakward and highly skilled boxer at 175lbs. He'd be able to hit Roy with superior frequency than virtually all of RJJ's opponents ever have, and Spinks had an excellent right hand that I would pick to knock out RJJ late in the fight, round 11 or 12. Maybe sooner.
I, too, go with Spinks by late TKO but i also have the feeling that Jones might win a very close decision if it goes the distance.
I very rarely pick fighters over RJJ, however Spinks is an exception. Much like Montell Griffin, I think Spinks would attempt to counterpunch and take advantage of Roy's somewhat open defence. His awkward style and size advantage would give Jones fits, allowing him to counter with the right hand. He himself definately has adequate defence to avoid most of Roys shots and his own punches have enough power to seriously hurt Roy. Not even Holmes could get the better of Spinks in the middle of the ring, and Roy lacks the chin to put the pressure on. Roy does okay early untill Michael begins to land hard counters, eventually catching him with a right hand and putting him down for the count. Spinks Jinx TKO 10. :good
