As impressive as Tyson's pad work is, I think his lack of stamina, age, and his explosive style may come back to haunt him if he doesn't end things within 4 rounds. Roy is not the sort of guy you want to be stuck in a ring with all night. If Roy even has 20% of his ring generalship, footwork, and reflexes left, he will make Tyson earn every cent. Of course a single flush bomb or combination could potentially end things. Roy cannot relax for a split second. If it's scheduled for 6-8 rounds I favor Tyson by KO or by a clear decision. If its scheduled for 12 and Roy has managed to avoid getting dropped somehow by the 8th, I see him winning a close decision (on paper if they're scoring it). I don't trust Roy's chin though.
I believe it's an 8-Round Exhibition Bout. How we actually gauge this one on form is anybody's guess but, at least we know that Jones has been active more recently than Tyson and he also has that advantage of being a youthful 51, compared to Tyson's 54 years of age.
Yeah this fight would have been interesting 20 years ago lol. Looks like both looking for a pay day. I don’t think Tyson has that killer in him anymore. He prob just wants the pay day but what the hell om gonna watch it lol
Well it's getting closer and as far as I'm aware not being canceled or anything.. Yet. But yes it's going to be interesting to see how these ATG s fare against each other. I realize it's just an exhibition but you can't tell me the old competitive juices won't be flowing between the two. Not sure if it's three rounds or what but I'm going to predict that Jones doesn't see past two. Look for Tyson to end it fast.
I know that it seems like a joke of a fight, but it might not necessarily be so. In the MMA world there have been some EPIC fights between declined older fighters that happened to be evenly matched. This could turn out to be very entertaining.
