Personally, I think Rahman would get stopped versus the Roy that John Ruiz faced. What do you lot think?

As good as Jones was Rahman would only have to catch him clean once and it goodnight.Ruiz isn't a big puncher and was the heavyweight of choice for blown up former middleweights to beat.

Yeah, but aside from KOing Lewis, what real impressive KO's has Rahman had?

Not comparing a HW's glass chin to a LHW's glass chin, but he's very slow and has a low workrate, as well as just as bad a defence as Ruiz had. The only difference is that Ruiz has a much better chin than Rahman, which is definitley proven.

There was a couple of shots that Jones hit Ruiz with that would have knocked some Cruiser's silly and I equate Rahman's jaw to a Cruiser or LHW jaw, seeing as how it only takes a feather fisted HW to buzz him.

Could easily see Jones getting clipped and put out, but I see even easier for Jones to play it safe and beat Rahman to the punch and knock him out in the same right.

Roy's right hand should be the thing that everyone looks for.

Did you catch the Ruiz fight replay before the Jones-Tito fight on HBO demand?

Couple of those shots could have definitley put Rahman down, they hurt Ruiz.

Roy aint knocking him out. Rahmans only ever been KO`ed by real big punchers. Roy would have cruised to an easy UD though.

Stopped probably not but maybe a draw or a possible points win for Roy. If anyone geot stopped I would think it'd be Roy.

I was just about to say that, RJ had some pop at heavyweight. Didnt have one punch ko power, but if you continue to let him hit you, they will start to affect you. He hurt Ruiz a couple times in that fight for sure. Broke his nose on an uppercut as well. I think he could get Rahman out of there

It's only thing to say Rahman's a glassjaw, but that's just crazy.

I'd pick Jones by a shutout, worse than the clinic he put on Ruiz, that's for damn sure.

Maybe so, but it took a MONSTER shot to knock him out.

Roid claimed he wanted for fight Vitali Klitschko, but backed out ASAP! He then claimed he wanted to fight Vlad, then ran like Hell! Rahman would have knocked Roid out.

i remember thinkin had rahman beat ruiz and got to fight rjj, assuming roy took the fight, and roy winning he could lay claim to beating 2 HW title holders, one being the legit HW of the world at one point and would have been 50-1. retirement would have been at a perfect time

Roy had no intention of fighting any heavyweight except John Ruiz which is a shame cuz he could have beaten the limited Rahman. It was clear that Roy wanted no piece of Hasim. I wonder if Lennox kicks himself everyday for losing to him. Probably not.
