Roy Jones vs. 90s George Foreman.

I think some are forgetting that Moorer had cement in his shoes and only got caught when he was standing in front of Foreman slugging it out despite Atlas screaming at him inbetween everyround to stop the bull**** and watchout for the right hand he was loaded up on. Jones' has a much much higher IQ than Moorer and faster feet.

 

This is true for sure. I was going to respond to that post but didnt bother. Moorer at heavyweight was too lazy to box on his toes. He preferred to stand flat footed directly in front of his opponent.

 

Even the post coma Douglas had a good snapping jab and quick hands. Douglas also could get up on his toes and box and put punches together in combination. That would have been enough to KO Jones, who actually needed to face a slow guy like Foreman to be successful at heavyweight. Guys like Tyson, Holyfield and even Lewis would have put Jones in the cheap seats. One punch guys like Ruiz and Foreman he could handle because of his speed and George was a lot slower than John Ruiz. Still if Foreman landed a solid righthand Jones would be unconscious.

 

thing is even a George punch to Roy's arms would hurt Roy and any body punch could change the fight. I am not sure how this fight would look if Roy were to win. Not a fight you would see everyday.

 

Schulz ran all night and head butted yet people say he won! HHAHAHA.
He couldnt stun or hurt a 4 year old Foreman. Axel didnt deserve to be a champ.
