Jones would have beat him comfortably for mine. He was never the same after his heavyweight foray and big fluctuations in weight. I don't for one second buy that Tarver would always be extremely tough for him.
Tarver looked better v Harding than Jones did, Jones seemed to have problems getting past Tarver`s jab, I feel it would be a close fight one way or the other.
He won comfortably in 2003. He'd pitch a near shut out in 2000, Tarver only did well when he threw punches, Jones in 2000 would scare Tarver into a shell and would pick him part
2000 was Roy's last prime year. He had already started slipping a bit athletically between 01-04. He wins easily over Tarver in 2000.
