Then how's he gonna get past Danny Green, a top5 LHW when he took a break 2 years ago and now top10, in Green's home town of Sydney?

Hopkins by close decision. I am pleased the fight finally happens, we have been waiting for a long time. Better late than never.

I think RJJ will win a close decision, by taking the early rounds. Bernanrd will have his moments late, as usual, but Jones will survive.

Hopkins is a damn Hypocrite and pre 2002 Hopkins would've been fighting pre 2002 Jones and got his ass kicked again.

Roy will outpoint Hopkins again. He looked sharp in the fight with Lacy.

Hops normally doesnt go for the KO, but he damn sure was in the Pavlic fight.

I think the 60/40 for KO deal along with Roy talking **** in the 24/7 will be enough to motivate Hops to seek the KO and I think he will get it.

I can't believe people STILL give Jones a chance at the elite level...

Lacy and Hops are on completely different levels these days, not even close in capabilities.

Lacy is shot, I suspect Taylor carried him in their fight.

    Hopkins, he is less shot.

Or his style is less dependent on physical attributes that have faded, which ever way you want to look at it.

    Hopkins UD or late TKO.

A shame it is happening when Roy is shot.

This fight would have been more interesting years ago but today I say Jones wins. Hopkins punch output has plummeted over the years, he still is a great tactical fighter, has a great chin, and makes every fight rough. Hopkins is a counterpuncher and the best way to beat a counterpuncher is to make him lead. Jones has lost his legs and has relied more on basic boxing skills blocking and parrying to elude punches. His counterpunching and handspeed is still among the best in boxing. I see the fight playing out similar to the first fight with Jones advantage in the middle of the ring and Hopkins taking advantage of Jones lull periods on the ropes....Jones 115-113

well i'm glad you asked. I like watching Jones fight more but he got an extremely big ego. He is in denial when he talks, he acts like he is still the **** in interviews, fighting no names on ppvs and have been treating Hops like he owns him in interviews. So I like to see Hops shut him up. Jones takes **** talking to another level and the way he does it speaking in third person acting like he is rapping while talking. It just reminds me of those fools i see in high school that are very annoying.

If you break down the styles of both and the normal tempo at which they both equally like to fight, then the UD should go to Roy Jones, based on his speed coming from awkward angles.

im still undecided on this one Hopkins is a great fighter but Jones still has the movement and handspeed and power to give Hopkins the same problems he faced back in 95'
