Hopkins just after Trinidad and jones after glen kelly

I am convinced there would of been a high chance of Roy winning by tKO.

In the rematch jones was at his natural weight and not having a hand problem.
Hopkins I beleave would have started out trying outbox Roy on the outside. Which would not last long as Roy would start to win that battle. So Hopkins would try and press Roy from about 4 or 5rds. This is the point Roy had a serious chance for the ko.

    Jones by decision.

    He wouldn't have stopped Hopkins.

This was detox jones, he was off the roids so there's no predicting how this one could end up.

Hopkins may have prgressed but the fact that JT and Calzaghe were able to outwork him somewhat makes you wonder about how he handles Jones

No way in hell Quitkins can outbox Roy. Not talented enough. Not strong enough to bully him. Roy by TKO after Borenard eats canvas.

This is like watching sheep. If Jones goes down to middleweight I'll take Hopkins by close UD. If Hopkins goes up to light heavy I'll take Jones by close UD

Remember we are talking about a non gun shy Roy who sat down on his punches a guy who put a Thomas Tate away who had a rock of a chin. Hopkins pissed Roy off so I could see Roy really trying to blast Hopkins.

That could work against roy though. Hopkins by no means is the biggest puncher but I feel his power is slightly underrated. We saw what he did to calzaghe on the way in and wouldn't put it past him to land a straight right timed perfectly to send jones on his ass.

Hopkins is much to slow Roy's speed and power back then wooooo. Roy's leaping left hook would have been the game stopper that would have stopped Hopkins coming in
