griffin couldnt punch,Toney never hit him,Ruiz wobbled him in the last seconds of the fight and I sure as hell dont remember Sosa hitting Roy that clean. Delvalle dropped him and he was an average puncher. Roy just got away with it early on was because he was too fast for anyone to hit him clean
Stop Crying:crybaby you aint the one who got knocked out! So newbootie I dont know **** huh:roll: You just stick around here on ESB for a while and you will realize that you will eat **** for that comment, and will eventually learn something from me on boxing. I am like the Sugar Robinson of boxing knowledge.:yep
I think Roy Jones vs Bob Barker would be a more realistic fight at this stage in Roy's career, sadly.
Well my experiences and knowledge go back a ways just cause you disagree with me on Roy dont assume I dont know my ****.
:rofl:rofl Look im only clowning Roy cause I just never liked his taunting and disrespect of opponents. Just the overall way he carried himself. As a fighter though he is probably the most naturally gifted fighter ever, outside of his chin. No one will ever convince me that he had a good chin,he just never got tagged. Ive watched about 90% of his fights that have been televised dating back to his 2nd fight with Stephan Johnson and Ron amundsen. Saw him in the Olympics and I was a fan of his for about half his career.
The clowning of opponents in the ring was just his idea of showmanship, and yes I know it pissed a lot of people off, but Roy wanted to entertain you, first and foremost. Aside from the antics in the ring, outside the guy is pure class and a great spokesman for the sport.
