The punch didn't put Roy down. He gets hit and then a full second later he slips. He got caught with a good shot and it was a legit knockdown, but if he feet were under him, he wouldn't have gone down.

Jones had closed whatever lead Griffin had on the cards by the end of the round before the DQ. He'd had him down twice, and Griffin was ready to go.

He'd of got to Griffin. Jones adjusted and knocked him down. I'd imagine that had Jones kept control, then he'd of stopped Griffin soon after.

Stay objective, there's no way that Griffin would of won that fight.

Is this before or after Jones tested positive for steroids?

Exactly, Jones got soundly outboxed throughout the fight, he was still down on my card even though he scored the knockdown in round 7. They say Griffin was ready to go, but he still had the composure to choose to take a knee. Remember, Griffin got KD'd in round 7, came back and outboxed Jones in round 8, and even staggered Jones against the ropes. He did get hurt in round 9, but still had his composure.

Go to 1:00 and watch Jones do the chicken dance, that was not a slip, he hurt him.

Jones knocked Griffin down in round 7, and Griffin still came back to have a big round 8 and even staggered Jones. He hurt him in round 9, but Griffin still had the composure to voluntarily take a knee to avoid any further punishment, to disturb Roy's momentum and come back into the fight.

There's no blueprint to beat Calzaghe. There is a blueprint to beat Jones.

Griffin was in trouble that fight.

Jones made his own adjustments and started getting to him.

Jones looked bad in the fight. That was when the blueprint began on how to beat Jones.

He did look bad. How bad may be exaggerated because people were used to seeing him dominate.

Mind explaining that blue print briefly?

Just ask Griffin, Tarver, Johnson. Or a few others. I'm sure they can tell you all about it. :rofl :patsch

:patsch That implies that they all beat Jones the same way, which is ridiculous.
