At Middleweight, prime vs. prime. Who wins?

Tough fight, but I see Monzon overhauling an early points deficit and stopping Jones in the latter rounds. Carlos too strong for Roy,and would n't be hurt too badly by Jones punches.

This is one where Monzon's one glaring weakness is exposed. Speed...in Monzon's case, lack of it. Jones would only be too adept at exploiting it.

I cannot see Monzon fairly slow of hand avoiding the laser punching Roy Jones both in their primes...I see most likely Roy jones by a late stoppage. Of course Monzon had a good straight right hand that could ko Jones, but speed "kills",and Roy Jones had surreal handspeed in his prime, though Monzon had tougher MW opposition...

How would Jones do against Monzon's MW opposition?

Hmmm nice hypothetical fight. At first when I seen the thread I figured Jones would be able to effectively use his speed and pull off a win. But, I gave it some more thought, and I almost forgot to factor in Monzon's great timing.

So I figure if this fight happened it ends either in a close decision going either way, or the timing of Monzon manages to get get him a KO by connecting with a nice straight right into RJJ's chin.
