[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xurWHNylVdg&feature=related[/ame], I'd tell you, I think Roy would of beatin Glen but Johnson fought a perfect fight against Roy in this fight the way he stayed close to Roy and jasbbed with him. But even at Roy's best, he wouldn't hurt Johnson because of Glen's great chin. Either way I think it was an underrated performance by Johnson and deserves some credit. At Roy's best it would of been obviously different but my question is, do you think it would of been still competitive(even if roy won) or do you think Roy would of did the samething he did to Merqi Sosa?

[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RztFkl61-4I[/ame], here goes Merqi Sosa when he pressured Roy, I think Glen's defense, strength and Chin is better than Sosa, so it would of been interesting.

I know, I was thinking about it hard and your right Glen did get better with age that's why I posed the question.

Would have been competitive, but Roy would won a decision. He was coming off his first ko loss going into that fight. He wasnt mentally or physically ready for a guy like Johnson. It was really a strange move by his handlers. I think they still had a hard time believing that Roy was KOd by Tarver and wanted to believe that it was a fluke, not that it was just over for Roy.

Johnson doesn't get the credit he deserves for the Jones win, at that point Jones while not in his prime or at his best was still a world level operator but Johnson came out and put the pressure on from the first round not giving Roy any time to settle and evetually got the spectacular KO.

because jones was found to be riddled with steroids the 1st time he was ever tested, and from that point on he never beat anyone of any note imo, as well as losing to tarver and johnson.

i sincerly believes theres a huge question mark over jones' entire career pre hall fight as to whether he was ever a clean fighter.

i think johnsons game plan was perfect for a steroid free roy jones.

Roy wins and it's not competitive. A much easier fight than his match with Hopkins.

This is what you get from people who think certain fighters are unbeatable, 'sure he lost when he was 80% but if he was 100% he would win every round then brutally KO him in the 6th' :dead:dead

The Nard that Roy coasted thru was a better fighter than Glenn has ever been in his entire career. Don't be stupid.

Yes, Roy really was that good in his prime. I doubt if he would put out the effort to KO Glenn.

Styles make fights, Johnson being tough as nails iron chin, iron body wouldn't get dominated and KO'd by Jones.
